The 9th International Workshop on Tau-Lepton Physics, Tau06, will be held in Pisa (Italy), in the conference room "Ulisse Dini", inside Palazzo del Castelletto (via del Castelletto, 11), from Tuesday, September 19 to Friday, September 22, 2006.

This is the ninth workshop of this series devoted to the physics of the tau lepton and its associated neutrino. The meetings have been organized every two years since the first workshop at the University of Paris (Orsay,France) in 1990. The latest workshop was held in 2004, in Nara (Japan).

The goal of the Workshop is, by getting together theorists and experimentalists, to discuss recent progress in tau lepton physics. New tau results from high energy machines, low energy machines and B-factories will be presented as well as recent results from g-2 and neutrino oscillation experiments. Also included in the program are related subjects like the hadron cross section measurement at e+e- colliders as well as a search for mu->e gamma decays. In addition, there will be several review talks on the future prospects.

The Tau06 proceedings have been published on Nuclear Physics B, Proceedings Supplements, Vol. 169, July 2007 and are stored on the Elsevier web site where they are initially accessible at this location. The proceedings contributions as sent to the publisher can be accessed on the Tau06 web site.

The web site now allows uploading the proceedings contributions. Please upload your contribution by October 31 by following the submission instructions. Further instructions on several details are available here.

Please do submit your contribution even after the deadline. We will try to get all submitted material in the publication, provided we can complete the editing before the publisher's deadline in January.

The Tau06 proceedings will be published on Nuclear Physics B proceedings edition (Elsevier), like most other former Tau Workshops of this series. Speakers contributions are due by October 31, 2006, as announced during the workshop. All speakers will soon receive instructions on how to prepare the proceedings. See here for more details.

The following concerns the Tau06 scheduled speakers.

Until now, the maximum file size of uploaded talks was limited to about 10Mb. This has now been increased to 100Mb. We are sorry that the file size limit was not realized and not communicated.

The program schedule has been revised.

By clicking on the talk title, scheduled speakers can upload their presentation in electronic format. PDF is preferred, but also other formats like Powerpoint, Openoffice, Postscript and others are supported.

When a presentation is created, the speaker can

The registration procedure has been closed on August 31.
Please contact the administrator to ask permission to register to the conference beyond the deadline.
